Styrmon’s origins begin with analog engineer Gregg Stock and designer Lucian Tu, who formed the pre-Strymon company Damage Control in 2004. They would produce tube-driven distortion pedals until 2009, after which they decided to rebrand and take their pedals for a new level under the name Strymon. Since then, Strymon have based their company in Westlake Village, CA, and in 2009 introduced thirteen pedals ranging from all-analog optical compressors to DSP-driven modulation.
Now in present day, Strymon have pushed the boundaries of technology to create the latest effects guaranteed to inspire.
